What's collected
Only what you type into the application — your name, your email, your phone, how you're coming, and what you write to me.
Why
So I can read your application and have one honest conversation with you about whether this is your walk.
Where it lives
Your application itself — everything you write to me, including anything you tell me about your health — comes to my own inbox and is kept in my application record. That part is read by me.
Your name, email and phone are also added to my mailing list, which is run for me by EmailOctopus. That means you'll hear from me occasionally about journeys and what I'm working on, and you can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link on any email — one click, no conversation needed.
*What is not shared*
What you write in your application, and anything you tell me about a health condition, an injury or a dietary need, is not added to the mailing list and is not sent to EmailOctopus. It stays with me, and is used only to run the journey safely — shared no further than the guides who need it on the ground.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details never touch us.
How long
Your application is kept until the journey completes, or until you ask. Your mailing list entry stays until you unsubscribe.
To see it, correct it, or have it deleted
