Terms of booking
These are the terms you agree to when you pay for a place on Sacred Fire & Water of Bali, 23–26 October 2026. They're written plainly on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask me before you pay rather than after.

Who you're contracting with
Your booking is with TK Partnership Pty Ltd, an Australian company and the entity that receives your payment. Full company details, including our registered address, are available on request.
Throughout these terms, "I" and "me" means Kai (Barry Magliarditi), who facilitates the journey. "You" means the person named on the booking.
What this is
A four-day, three-night pilgrimage in Bangli and Kintamani, Bali, for a maximum of eight people, running 23 to 26 October 2026.
It is a pilgrimage, not therapy. It is not treatment, and it is not a medical or psychological service. Nothing offered is a substitute for medical or psychiatric care, and no outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Applying and being accepted
Applying is not booking. It commits you to nothing and costs nothing.
I read every application myself and reply within 48 hours. If it looks like a fit we speak for twenty minutes, and either of us can say no. A place exists only once you have been accepted and have paid.
Applications close Wednesday 16 September 2026, or when the last of the eight places is taken, whichever comes first. I may close them earlier at my discretion.
Price and what it covers
A solo place is $2,200 USD. A couple's place, twin share, is $4,000 USD for two people.
What is and isn't included is set out in full on the journey page, and that page forms part of these terms. Flights, travel insurance, optional massage and personal spending are not included.
How you pay
Up to and including 22 September 2026 you may pay half to hold your place, with the balance charged automatically to the same card on 23 September 2026. You'll be emailed seven days beforehand.
From 23 September 2026, the full amount is payable at the time of booking and no card is stored.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details never reach us. The charge will appear on your statement as BARRYMAGLIARDITI.COM.
Changing your mind
Cooling-off. Cancel within 7 days of paying — or up to 30 days before we start, whichever comes first — and you receive everything back. No questions, no reasons needed.
After that, your deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 30 days before departure it moves in full to the next Remembrance journey.
Inside 30 days, the bases, guides and vehicles are committed, so your place cannot be moved to a later journey and is not refundable. This is what travel insurance is for.
Passing your place to someone else is free and has no deadline, right up to the start. They must be accepted in the same way you were.
Balance payments are refundable until 23 September 2026. After that date suppliers are committed.
If I cancel
If I cancel the journey for any reason, you receive every dollar back in full. That is the limit of what I owe you — I am not responsible for flights, accommodation or other costs you arranged separately, which is another reason insurance is required.
If circumstances beyond reasonable control — weather, volcanic activity, illness, government restriction — make part of the itinerary impossible, I may substitute an equivalent experience. The journey page describes intent, not a guarantee of specific locations.
Travel insurance is required
You must hold travel insurance covering Indonesia, light walking and early-morning activity at altitude, and you must be able to show evidence of it before departure. This is a condition of your place, not a recommendation.
Health, fitness and honesty
There is no summit climb. The most demanding thing is stairs, and there are many of them.
You must tell me in your application about any health condition, injury, mobility limitation, dietary requirement or medication that could affect your safety or the group's. If you are currently under care for a mental health condition, tell me — not to exclude you, but so it can be held properly.
Withholding something material may mean you cannot take part, without refund.
Alcohol, substances and conduct
No alcohol on the journey. There are no plant medicines of any kind at any point — no ayahuasca, psilocybin, san pedro or kambo. Ceremonial cacao and blue lotus tea are offered, and both are optional.
I may ask you to leave, without refund, if your conduct puts the safety or experience of the group at risk. Sacred sites have their own protocols and they are not negotiable.
Photography
Photographs and video may be taken. Tell me if you'd rather not appear in anything shared publicly, and that will be respected.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own passport, visa, vaccinations and fitness to travel. Most nationalities receive a 30-day visa on arrival for Indonesia; checking your own requirements is your responsibility.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, participation is at your own risk, and my liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your place.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Tasmania, Australia, and the courts of Tasmania have jurisdiction.
